Day 01: Kochi Arrival
Welcome to "God's Own Country!" You'll be met at Kochi Airport and then taken to your hotel. After a bit of relaxation, you can explore the vibrant old spice market and M.G. Road markets. In the evening, enjoy a scenic sunset cruise followed by a traditional Kathakali dance performance.
Day 02: Kochi to Munnar (Approx. 148 miles - 4 ½ hours drive)
After breakfast, head to Munnar, undoubtedly one of Kerala's most famous destinations. Spend your days surrounded by expansive tea plantations, pristine valleys, and the lofty Western Ghats En route visit Spice Plantations, Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls. Upon arrival in Munnar, check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind.
Day 03: Munnar
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a tour of Eravikulam National Park, where you can spot the rare mountain goats, also known as the "" Later, explore the captivating sights around Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy boating and horse riding at Mattupetty Lake or engage in trekking and bird watching in the Shola forests. Afterward, visit Echo Point, View Point, and the Tea Gardens.
Day 04: Munnar to Kumarakom (Approx. 98 miles - 4 hours drive)
Following breakfast, you'll be transferred to Kumarakom, a picturesque spot situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake in the Kuttanad region, known for its natural beauty. It serves as an ideal base to experience the typical Kerala lifestyle. Upon arrival, check in at your backwaters resort, nestled in the heart of emerald backwaters. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy various water sports and Ayurvedic massages at your resort
Day 05: Kumarakom
Today, you have the opportunity to indulge in different water sports and Ayurvedic massages at your resort.
Day 06: Houseboat Experience
At the appropriate time, a houseboat will arrive at your resort. Later, check in to your beautifully adorned houseboat (Kettuvallam) to embark on a journey through enchanting backwaters. Houseboat cruising through the backwaters is one of Kerala's most exciting tourism experiences. Kerala boasts vast stretches of backwaters with abundant natural scenery. Enjoy the day navigating the narrow emerald backwater canals of Kumarakom/Alleppey. Spend the night in your luxury houseboat.
Day 07: Kovalam (Approx. 105 miles - 5 hours drive)
In the morning, you'll be driven to Kovalam. Along the way, you can visit Palaruvi Falls. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in at your beach resort. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind at the resort. You might even enjoy a cookery lesson in the evening.
Day 08: Kovalam
In the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. The Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is the city's most significant religious icon. Other notable attractions include the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum Veli Tourist Village (featuring an excellent waterfront park), and Shangumugham Beach. Spend the night at your beach resort.
Day 09: Departure
After breakfast, at an appropriate time, you'll be transferred to Trivandrum Airport for your onward journey back to your home destination. This concludes your tour.
